Organic Dried Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis)

$3.00

With a fresh citrus aroma and flavour, Lemon Balm is a member of the mint family.    It has a long history of being a herb of relaxation, and a topical remedy for wounds and venemous bites.   It can be used to help with sleep and is often taken as a tea to soothe the mind before bed.  Used to promote better digestion, it can aid in relieving many of these issues, including bloating and colic.  Known for its anti-viral effects - particularly treating cold-sores - it may reduce the severity and length of the outbreaks.

Note: Avoid using in large doses with hypothyroid conditions or Hashimoto's thyroiditis as can have a negative effect on thyroid hormone medications - it is best to use under the guidance of a healthcare practitioner if you have these conditions.
