Known for its distinct, slightly bitter flavour, Blessed Thistle adds a unique flavour to teas, tinctures, and herbal blends.  It has a long history of being a cure all.   A digestive stimulant and tonic, it is also believed to support the kidney, liver and gallbladder health.  Topically it can be applied as part of a poultice to treat wounds.  It also has a long history of supporting lactation for breastfeeding mothers with its galactagogue properties - which basically means that it can stimulate the production and quality of breast milk.  It also supports menstruating women by helping to alleviate some of the symptoms like headache, brain fog, and cramping that can affect many.
